While you’re not meant to have a favourite child, the Raven that we most identify with and celebrate here at 3 Ravens is the prankster - Jack. Jack takes an unorthodox view on anything and everything, questions authority and bucks tradition. Jack’s the life of the party - striving to put a smile on everyone's dial and to keep the good times rolling long into the evening.
To flip the traditional notion of hopping on its head, we’ve brewed a Pale Ale with all of the kettle hops added at the end of the boil, and all of the dry hops added at the start of (well, before) fermentation. For this we’ve chosen a patented blend of hops from Yakima Chief called “Cryo Pop” designed to feature maximum “survivable” hop compounds - that is, hop oils that will survive heat, fermentation and conditioning - to produce a beer with maximum hop aroma and flavour. The beer features oats, wheat and loads of dextrins for a full bodied light golden hazy beer of just 3.5% ABV - so you can enjoy maximum hops delivered to your taste buds and still party all night.
