As Melbourne’s oldest independent brewery, we're thrilled to introduce the 86 Tram Series—a heartfelt tribute to our heritage and incredible community! This series is a chance for us to share our 21-year journey and the amazing stories of all the people and places that have made it such a fun adventure.
What better way to celebrate our roots than by reviving our iconic tram branding with a nostalgic twist! We're excited to unveil two new, approachable, sessionable and affordable beers - Thornbury Lager and Rucker’s Hill Pale Ale. Where every sip tells a story, celebrating the eclectic spirit of Melbourne and the connections that bring us together.

Ruckers Hill Pale Ale
Style: Pale Ale
ABV: 4.2%
Bitterness: 16 IBU (low-medium)
Colour: 3 SRM (Brilliant Gold)
INGREDIENTS
Grist: Australian Pale, Wheat Malt, Dextrin, Light Cara, Roast Wheat
Hops: Eclipse, Galaxy, Vic Secret
Yeast: American Ale
Other: Dextrose
TASTING NOTES
Overview: Bright, Dry Sessionable
Aroma: Toast, melon, pineapple, orange
Flavour: Dry, light malt, balanced bitter, juicy
Mouthfeel: Clean, crisp, smooth, refreshing
An approachable, easy to drink and sessionable hop driven beer of moderate strength with clean flavour, light malt, bright hop profile, balanced bitterness and a dry finish.
Thornbury Lager
Style: New World Pilsner
ABV: 4.5%
Bitterness: 30 IBU (Medium)
Colour: 2-3 SRM (Straw)

Grist: Australian Pale, Munich, Dextrin
Hops: Saaz (flavour), Enigma (aroma)
Yeast: Bavarian Lager

Overview: Crisp, Clean, Refreshing
Aroma: Fresh cut grass, lemonade, white grape
Flavour: Bready malt, dry finish, balanced bitter
Mouthfeel: Light, clean, crisp, cleansing
A modern Australian homage to the original pale lager beer style featuring Saaz hops, Bavarian lager yeast, fresh Australian barley malt and Enigma hops.
Light, dry and crisp with subtle malt and hop character, balanced bitterness and a clean finish.
